New Synchro Clinic for 5-11 Year Olds: Synchro for Fun and Fitness

Course Description: Come and learn the basic fundamentals of synchronized swimming, which combines the art, grace, and fun of dance with the flexibility and strength of gymnastics in the water. This new program is designed for youth ages 5-11 and includes land and water activities. Participants will learn and practice basic body positions, sculling techniques, stroking variations, and figures that will be combined into a fun routine. Participants will receive instruction from a national award winning coach and other very experienced, knowledgeable, and fun coaches. Participants will receive a special synchro nose clip.
The Minnesota Synchronettes (formerly the West Metro Synchronettes) is a non-profit US Synchronized Swimming(USSS) club. The club offers instruction in synchronized swimming to athletes in the Minneapolis West Metro area and provides a way for local synchronized swimmers of all ages to compete in the USSSI State, Regional, Zone and National Championships. The club also provides training for Varsity High athletes during the high school synchro off-seasons.
The Minnesota Synchronettes(MNS) club is for those who like music, swimming, dancing, having fun and team camaraderie as well as athletes with a passion for synchro and a desire to excel in the sport.
