You Are Invited to the MNS 2012 Exhibition Swim!
In preparation for the 2012 Regional Championships in Des Moines, the Minnesota Synchronettes are swimming this year's routines on Saturday, April 21st starting at 2:30pm at Wayzata West Middle School. For friends and family, please come and celebrate the accomplishments of the season and for those new to synchro, come and see what the sport is all about! All are welcome to attend.

Our site features all the latest news and information about the Minnesota Synchronettes Synchronized Swimming Club.

The Minnesota Synchronettes(MNS) is a non-profit US Synchronized Swimming(USSS) club. The club offers instruction in synchronized swimming to athletes in the Minneapolis West Metro area and provides a way for local synchronized swimmers of all ages to compete in the USSSI State, Regional, Zone and National Championships. The club also provides training for Varsity High athletes during the high school synchro off-seasons.
MNS is for those who like music, swimming, dancing, having fun and team camaraderie as well as athletes with a passion for synchro and a desire to excel in the sport.

Invitation
We would love to have you join us. We offer a trial period in the fall so you can try our synchronized swimming program and determine if the Synchronettes are right for you. Please contact us for details on our practice times, locations, fees, competitive team programs, high school pre-season programs, and registration forms.

MNS Spring News Update
The 2012 North Zone Championships were held in Chicago in early March. The North Zone is one of four zones in the nation and includes teams from 15 states and consists of two championship competitions; the 13-15 Championship and the Senior Zone Championship competitions. Eight routines qualified to swim at Senior Zones with four routines obtaining qualifying scores to swim at both US Juniors and US Junior Opens. A summary of the North Zone results are listed below with a more comprehensive summary of both North Zones and the Minnesota State Championships posted here .

NORTH ZONE CHAMPIONSHIPS
Senior Team: 4th * Place
Senior Trio: 10th Place
Senior Duets: 11th, 18th and 21st Places
Senior Solos: 4th *, 6th * and 8th * Places

13-15 Team: 3rd Place
13-15 Trios: 8th and 9th Places
13-15 Duets: 4th and 7th Places
13-15 Solo: 5th Place

* Indicates the four routines with qualifying scores for US Juniors and US Junior Opens
