2026-27 club season
Welcome to the Minnesota Synchronettes registration!
MNS Club Purpose: To provide instruction in artistic/synchronized swimming to athletes in the Twin Cities Metro Area; to provide local artistic/synchronized swimmers to Boys and Girls of all ages the opportunity to compete in USAAS State, Regional, Zone and National Championships and to provide complementary training for high school varsity athletes during the high school synchro off-season.
If you are unsure which program is the best fit for your athlete, we encourage you to attend our Parent Information Meeting on Sunday, August 16 or Wednesday, August 26 prior to registration deadline. Coaches are happy to discuss your athlete's experience, goals, and availability to help determine the most appropriate program. Meeting details and a Google Calendar link will be provided on the MNS website prior to each meeting.
Practice Location(s): Wayzata West Middle School (primary location)
SEASON BEGINS: September 14-19th. Time: Varies by Age and Division, the club will email each swimmer with their start date.
Local and Nationally Competitive Options
Try Artistic Swimming Day!
Designed for swimmers aged 13 and under who are brand new to Competitive MNS.
Swimmers ages 12 & under (on 12/31/27) should attend practice Tuesday 9/15 from 6:45-8:15PM for their Try Artistic Swimming Day!
Swimmers age 13 (on 12/31/27) should attend practice Monday 9/14 from 6:45-8:45PM for their Try Artistic Swimming Day!
Locally Competitive Programs
All Locally Competitive Programs participate in competitions. For the 2026-2027 Season teams will attend 2 or 3 competitions in Minnesota. Additionally, teams will travel to either Wisconsin (12U & 13-15 Intermediate) or Ohio (15-19 Age Group) for North Zones. More information on competitions can be found in the Season Overview linked above. Competition qualification requirements will be discussed at parent meetings.
Nationally Competitive Programs
15-19 Age Group Athletes
All Nationally Competitive Programs participate in competitions. For the 2026-2027 Season teams will attend 2 or 3 competitions in Minnesota. Additionally, teams will travel to either Wisconsin (12U Age Group) or Ohio (13-15 & 15-19 Age Group) for North Zones and Alabama for Junior Olympics. More information on competitions can be found in the Season Overview linked above. Competition qualification requirements will be discussed at parent meetings.

Registration costs are as follows: Detailed Fees are included above in the 26-27 MNS Season Overview.
Athletes with Disabilities Locally Competitive Team
Fee: $225 per month
Locally Competitive Team
Local, Practicing 2 days a week, Fee: $250 per month
Local, Practicing 3 days a week, Fee: $375 per month
Nationally Competitive Team
National, Practicing 3 days a week, Fee: $400 per month, + $300 Commitment Fee paid in October
National, Practicing 4 days a week, Fee: $475 per month, + $300 Commitment Fee paid in October
MNS Financial Policy
September Fees are paid on the first day of practice. EXACT CASH or CHECK to “MNS”
Fees may be paid monthly, or for the entire season. Most families pay monthly.
Registered families are responsible to pay for the full year (Payment amounts vary by team selection) of fees.
Payments are spread out across 6, 9 or 11 months. This means you may have a payment dues in a month you don't swim in.
The bookkeeper will send an invoice through Quickbooks. Your monthly payment is due by the 10th of each month. A late fee of $25 may be added to any installments not paid by the due date.
If a bill is unpaid the bookkeeper will email a reminder invoice, it is the family’s responsibility to contact the Administrator and Bookkeeper. Swimmers may be unable to attend practice and/or meets if bills are not paid in a timely manner.
Commitment Fees are paid in October for Nationally Competitive Teams. If commitments are fulfilled, the swimmer competes through the Junior Olympics, then the fee paid in October will be deducted from the last payment (July) of the season. (Nationally Competitive Teams Only)
For the benefit of their teams, swimmers are encouraged to attend all scheduled practices for their team. No credit will be given for missed practices.
We make every attempt to maintain our schedules, but severe weather, or unforeseen facility closures sometimes cause cancellation. We do not issue fee credits if weather or closures interrupt our schedule.
We do not issue fee credits for missed practices due to illness or vacation.
6. MNS COde of Conduct
Talk to your swimmer about the Code of Conduct. Signing this document affirms each individual’s commitment to the ideals presented herein.
Coaches will go through the Code of Conduct with their swimmers during theseason.
